We are THRILLED to again be a part of graduation for the The Ron Clark Academy! Between the excited graduates, the awesome stage presence of Ron Clark and the fun surprise guests- you will be hard pressed to find a better graduation anywhere!
Here is a snippet about the graduation from Rodney Ho’s blog post in the AJC:
It was a touching three hours, full of inspirational speeches and videos, plus appearances by Bow Wow, Nelly and actor Brandon Jones, who was in the original movie “The Ron Clark Story.”
Near the end, Fantasia popped up to sing “I Believe,” her coronation song on “Idol” in 2004. I can’t say she performed it with the passion of 2004 but she did tell them that she regretted dropping out of school. She spent her early post-”Idol” years struggling with finances, partially because of her lack of education, she said. Her daughter, believe it or not, is now almost 10 years old!

We are so happy to be a part of this day- but with all the celebrities this day really is all about the kids! I mean just LOOK at those smiles!
OK- so it is not quite the dog days of summer yet, but we had one heck of a dog day in John’s Creek for the opening of America’s First Dream Dog Park by Beneful!
Last spring, Johns Creek, Ga., resident Pat McNeely and his four-legged friend Koda entered the Beneful WagWorld Dream Dog Park Contest, which invited dog owners across the country to share their ideas for the ultimate dog park. McNeely and Koda were crowned Grand Prize Winner of the first-of-its-kind contest and their ideas served as inspiration for a $500,000 makeover of their local dog park. Beneful unveiled the newly renovated Newtown Dream Dog Park at a celebratory event for the entire Johns Creek community.

The dog park renovation, which was managed by TV personality, contractor and design expert Jason Cameron, features many unique elements including a giant bone-shaped ramp, tunnels, water splash pads, a jogging trail and shade trees.
As a woman owned business we have a real appreciation for The Atlanta Women’s Foundation and the work that they do. The Atlanta Women’s Foundation makes grants to Atlanta nonprofits providing services to help eliminate generational poverty for women and girls in our community.
On top of that great cause, encouraging women networking, supporting and mentoring each other is essential to the success of women in the workplace and beyond.
That is why we are so happy to be able to work with Atlanta Women’s Foundation on this event Raising Awareness of Issues That Affect Women and Girls in Atlanta. The event at The Commerce Club, featured Sally Q. Yates, US Attorney for the Northern District of Georgia. More than 100 leaders of the Atlanta legal community, including judges, in-house counsel and attorneys in law firms large and small, pledged their support as members of the Host Committee.
So inspiring to see female leaders in our community coming together to support each other and Atlanta Women’s Foundation! Thanks so much for allowing us to be a part of this event!
Atlanta Event Photography gets to be a part of some very worthwhile causes and this one is right up there with the best!
Strong4Life is a statewide campaign through Children’s Healthcare Of Atlanta. The initiative includes the largest public awareness campaign on childhood obesity and wellness to ever hit Georgia, along with programs, partnerships and clinical intervention to help and support kids when and where they need it. Strong4Life brings together four essential building blocks every kid needs to be healthy: Eat Right, Be Active, Get Support and Have Fun.
Children who are overweight are now suffering from diseases once seen only in adults such as heart disease, hypertension, liver and kidney disease and type 2 diabetes. This program helps families take small steps toward a healthier life. These small steps can add up to big changes. Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and its guiding team of pediatric physicians, nutritionists and other specialists developed Strong4Life.
To kick off the Strong4Life initiative in Macon, Community Health Works and Children’s hosted Strong4Life Unplugged, a free event promoting healthy and active lifestyles as part of the region-wide Central Georgia Unplugged initiative to promote more activity and less screen time.
Thanks to Jackson Spalding we also got to create a special slideshow set to the song that was created especially for Strong4Life! Click HERE to watch the slideshow!
